Frequently asked questions

How do I play online?

Choose New game → Online, then create a room or enter a friend’s code. The host plays White. The guest plays Green. Both players need an internet connection.

What happens if I lose my connection?

Your board pauses while the app reconnects. Reopen Mill Club on the same device to resume your room. Inactive rooms expire after seven days. Switching devices does not transfer your private room credentials.

Why can’t I undo an online move?

Online moves are confirmed by the server and cannot be taken back. Hints are also disabled online to keep the match fair.

What does leaving an online game do?

Leaving an active game counts as a resignation. Closing the app or briefly disconnecting does not resign the game.

Where is my progress saved?

Offline games, preferences, and statistics stay on your device. Online room progress is saved on our server. You can clear local statistics in Settings.

How do mills and flying work?

Three pieces in a connected straight line form a mill and let you capture one opposing piece. Pieces in a mill are protected unless all opposing pieces are in mills. If enabled by the host, flying lets a player with three pieces move to any empty point. The Rules screen has the full explanation.
